BLDEA’s College of Pharmacy, Jamkhandi celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March with great enthusiasm and respect to recognize the achievements, strength, and contributions of women in society. The program aimed to inspire students and staff by highlighting the importance of women’s empowerment and equality.

Students of *BLDEA’s College of Pharmacy, Jamkhandi visited Shri Bhavani Pharmaceuticals, Dharwad on March 6, 2026* as part of an industrial visit to gain practical exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality control practices.

BLDEA’s College of Pharmacy, Jamkhandi celebrated National Pharmacy Education Day on 6th March 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prof. Mahadev Lal Schroff, who is widely regarded as the father of pharmacy education in India.The event aimed to highlight the importance of pharmaceutical education and the vital role pharmacists play in healthcare.The Chief Guest for the event was Dr.Shridharkumar. S. Biradar,Associate professor Department of Pharmacology, BLDEA’s SSM College of Pharmacy and Research center , Vijayapur. In his keynote address, he highlighted the growing opportunities in the pharmaceutical field and encouraged students to focus on research, innovation, and ethical practice in pharmacy.The program began with a warm welcome to the dignitaries and offering flower garland to photo of Prof. Mahadev Lal Schroff . The respected Principal, Dr. B. Shivakumar, presided over the function and addressed the gathering by emphasizing the significance of pharmacy education in advancing healthcare services and promoting safe and effective use of medicines.The event was successfully coordinated by Mr. Somanath Satyappa Janawad and Mr. Ganesh Shivanand Shiralashetti

The Valedictory Ceremony of Krīdotsavah2k26, the Annual Sports Meet of BLDEAs College of Pharmacy, Jamkhandi, was held on Saturday at 4:00 PM in the Seminar Hall with great enthusiasm. The programme began with a Welcome Address by Dr. K. M. Shirahatti, Physical Education Director, who highlighted the importance of sports in developing discipline, teamwork, and leadership among students. The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. P. D. Pol and President Dr. B. Shivakumar, who congratulated the participants and prize winners. The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Shekhar M. Teli, Sports Coordinator, who expressed gratitude to the management, guests, staff, and students for making the event a grand success. The two-day sports meet ended on a joyful and inspiring note, celebrating true sportsmanship and unity.

Jamkhandi, Feb. 27: The Annual Sports Meet, Krīdotsavah–2k26, was inaugurated at B.L.D.E Association’s College of Pharmacy, Jamkhandi, on Friday at 9:00 AM. The programme was graced by Basavaraj I. Karalatti as Chief Guest and presided over by Dr. B. Shivakumar. Other dignitaries present included Dr. K. M. Shirahatti and I. S. Nyamagoud. Mr. Shekhar M. Teli delivered the welcome address, highlighting the importance of sports in student development. The Sports Oath was administered by Yuvaraj Rathod, who led participants in pledging fair play and sportsmanship. Various indoor and outdoor events are being conducted over two days as part of the sports meet.
